WNBA needs to do more than apologize, as well as State farm arena security, and the team security etc whoever is responsible for this -not only needs to apologize but they need to pay for these two ladies tickets at the very least, if not also punitive damages for humiliating them and causing emotional distress needless to say among other things

The pair paid about $1,000 per ticket for their courtside seats.The Shirts: They wore "XX/XY" Athletics shirts to support WNBA player Sophie Cunningham. The back of the daughter's shirt said "For the girls".
The Threat: Security approached them during overtime. Staff gave them an ultimatum to cover the shirts or face ejection from the arena.
The Replacement: Security provided Atlanta Dream promotional shirts for them to wear over their clothes.The League's ResponsePublic Statements: Both the WNBA and the Atlanta Dream released official responses.
The Admission: The organizations admitted that security made a mistake and that the fans should not have been asked to cover their shirts.
